Project Proposal for the 11th Edition of the Invisible Borders Trans-African Road Trip

The journey

Nine countries, one shared road.

From 23 January to 11 March 2027, the journey will connect selected locations between Marrakesh and Lagos. The route remains flexible, responding to local conditions and encounters.

For over a decade, the Invisible Borders Trans-African Project has brought together artists, writers, filmmakers and researchers in collaborative journeys across the African continent.

As we prepare the 11th edition of the project — the 11th Trans-African Road Trip from Marrakesh to Lagos, a major Q1 2027 project — we invite partners, collaborators and sponsors to explore the following documents:
