Tom Saater

Tom Saater is a Documentary photographer/Photojournalist and Videographer. He focuses on reportage, social/cultural issues.

In 2015 he was nominated for Magnum Emergency Funds. In December 2009 he was invited by the British Council to participate in a photography project called “My Home is Here”. The project involved travelling around Nigeria to produce images of Climate Change in Nigeria and, as part of this project, he was awarded a Canon professional camera and selected to travel to Ethiopia to exhibit at the 2010 Addis Foto Festival in Ethiopia.

In 2014 he was selected for the second time to participate in the Invisible borders trans-Africa road trip project, traveling from Lagos, Nigeria to Sarajevo Eastern Europe, stopping in major cities creating personal documentary projects and collaborating with local artistes on various projects. app.invisible-borders.com
