Project Proposal for the 11th Edition of the Invisible Borders Trans-African Road Trip,
Marrakesh – Lagos, 2026
October 10 – November 28, 2026
For Partners, Collaborators,
and Sponsors
For over a decade, the Invisible Borders Trans-African Project has brought together artists, writers, filmmakers and researchers in collaborative journeys across the African continent.

As we prepare the 11th edition of the project — the 2026 Trans-African Road Trip from Marrakesh to Lagos — we invite partners, collaborators and sponsors to explore the following documents:
  • Invisible Borders Info Pack
An overview of the project, its history and its approach.
  • Road Trip 2026 Proposal
    The conceptual framework, itinerary and
partnership opportunities for the upcoming road trip.
  • Official Invitation from the Lagos Biennale
Confirming the road trip as Invisible Borders’
    entry in the forthcoming edition
    of the Biennale.
We welcome conversations with organizations and individuals interested in supporting or partnering with the project, and we look forward to embarking on yet another remarkable journey with you.

Should you require downloadable versions of the documents for internal use, kindly let us know and we will be happy to send them directly.
